Unless otherwise specified, all Sites featured in the current Links Directory stand in no particular order, but the order in which the entries have been submitted, first submissions on top.
Strictly Commercial Sites (sales & services) are listed in separate, for your convenience. Please note that authors' Sites, on which the authors also make their own books, CD's, etc., available for purchase, these are not listed among the Sales & Services (Commercial) Pages. 
These Sites will most likely be found, here, among the Personal Home Pages or Enrich Yourself Pages, though (depending on their content) they may of course figure on any one of the other listings. As mentioned above, the Sales & Services section is reserved for Ring Member Pages which are, in fact, business Sites (such as an on-line bookstore, to give a concrete example). A Business-related page in a non-commercial site may also be found in this Link Category. Sites of special interest, such as children's Pages and Pages celebrating something (date, occasion, holiday, etc.), these are likewise listed in sections of their own: Kids Pages and Celebrate ! Links Pages. The Enrich Yourself Links Page includes arts and literature Pages, "how-to" Pages, educational Pages, and all else that can offer interesting to valuable experiences and additions to your life – whether on the personal, cultural, entertainment, professional, or other contexts. Among the Free Stuff Links Page, however, you may also find Sites carrying free how-to's and handy tips that many of us can benefit from. In fact, anything that is freely available can be found among the Free Stuff Links. 
Because the word free has sadly gained a number of unrelated additional connotations, since the Internet has come to exist, it is highly relevant to make it clear to you that the Free Stuff Section of MieNet's Picks is not intended for Pages except these truly offering free services, goodies, tips, entertainment, etc. That is to say, no gimmicks, no special conditions, no need to invest on or buy anything, or fill in a form, or subscribe, etc., in order to be eligible for the free item or tip, no annoying pop-ups and the like! In sum, none of these or similar circumstances should be encountered, as you visit the Sites comprising the Free Stuff Links Page. As I have no control of what may be added to Web Pages, after I have reviewed them to join this Links Section, a relevant observation is in order: Should you ever happen to experience anything in contrary to what has just been described, above, as you visit any of the Sites listed on Free Stuff Links Page, you will do all of MieNet's visitors a favor if you can please take a minute to report your experience immediately, so I can check it out and contact the respective WebMaster, regarding a fair solution for all parties concerned. The Miscellaneous category includes all else that could not quite be accommodated on the other Links Pages. The very general nature of the categories available evidently means that, if you are looking for entertainment, for instance, you may find Sites to visit amongst most of these categories. As the current Links section grows, I may well develop a few subcategories, or devise more elaborate ways for displaying the links MieNet offers you here, among all Sites comprising MieNet's Web Rings. 
Whatever the case, however, please keep in mind that there is always a practical option available to you, as far as finding a particular kind of Site: You can Search MieNet's Rings and easily find the Sites related to a particular topic or theme you may be looking for. Following submission to this Links Section, each Site will be enjoying an extra entry in the Latest Additions category! This bonus-entry for newly added sites will be up for a period lasting anywhere from a full week to a couple of months, or so, depending exclusively on how crowded the Page may be getting. The very latest additions are placed on top of the list. The Most Popular Links category is meant to reflect MieNet's visitors preferences, among all links exhibited in this entire Links Section. So, in the Most Popular Links category, you'll always find the most visited Sites in all the Links categories featured here. No direct submission is available to the Most Popular Links category, though the links it exhibits have originally been submitted (to whichever of the preceding Links categories). The Most Popular Links listing is generated and updated based on two different sources, so as to ensure accuracy and fairness to all sites featured in this Links Section: [1] a link-count script, along with [2] MieNet's overall Web Site statistics (provided by Sitelutions, MieNet's Web Host). The Top Rings Members category constitutes another honors category, so to speak. In a way, it could be described as the Section containing the hottest links of all, as it will become clear below, though this category does not mirror the preferences of the visitors to the current Links Section, as does the Most Popular Links category. Differently from the Most Popular Links category, just described above, the Top Rings Members category showcases the Pages contributing the largest number of visitors to Ring navigation, itself, amongst all Pages in all of MieNet's Rings. In other words, these Pages are not necessarily the Top Pages chosen by MieNet's visitors to the current Links Section; they are, in contrast, the top generating traffic Members, among all other Sites in the Rings these Pages hold membership in. The Top Rings Members Links are the only links here which are not the result of direct submission to MieNet's Selected Ring Links. These links are simply here by merit. Their presence in this Section may additionally be taken as a token of appreciation from each of their Rings, for the valuable contribution that these Pages represent. Similarly to the Most Popular Links category, the Top Rings Members category is updated on a regular basis. Just the update for the Top Rings Members listing is based on WebRing's statistics for each of MieNet's Rings – not on MieNet's Site statistics and a local script, as the Most Popular Links category.
