(See Webber's earlier words on his choice of teams.) In addition, Sauber-BMW have announced that they have indeed terminated their contract with Jacques Villeneuve, Robert Kubica now replacing the Canadian for the remaining races, as feared when the team announced that Villeneuve would not be racing in Hungary–though the reason then given was that the Canadian did not feel fit to race, following his crash (see details). Who will be Sauber-BMW's Friday third driver, now that Kubica has been promoted to Villeneuve's race seat? In the meantime, McLaren have confirmed that Pedro de la Rosa will be driving their second car both in Turkey and in Italy. Incidentally, Fernando Alonso has reportedly said that he would like none other than Pedro de la Rosa as his team-mate, in 2007. Will the Spanish Champion have this much say in his new McLaren team?... The MF1 Team has reportedly been in purchase negotiations with Dutch company Lost Boys, which has been involved in F1 sponsoring Jos Verstappen and also former Minardi. According to local news, Rubens Barrichello is the Brazilian sportsman enjoying the highest wages–higher than Brazilian soccer stars Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Ronaldo. more to be added . . .
