Rocking All Over Silverstone: British GP's Party planned for this year, at the sound of Rick Parfitt & Status Quo rock 'n' roll band. Takuma Sato's penalty resulted from a crash he had in the Saturday morning practice. This crash forced Sato to swap to the spare car, for qualifying. And though his race car engine was undamaged, as there was not sufficient time to swap that race engine to the spare car; Sato ended up suffering a grid demotion penalty for an engine change. Jarno Trulli's Toyota had hardly begun the first Qualifying session, when the Italian driver pulled into the pit lane, in a smoking car. This year's (2006) British Grand Prix ended up constituting the most boring race of the Season, and one of the least exciting GPs in the last years–bringing to mind the Formula Boring that Fernando Alonso's dominance threatens to revive in the F1 scenario...
