- Although each team continues allowed the use of two types of dry weather tires per Grand Prix, their tires may now be custom-made by the tire companies, according to the results of specific tire tests done by each team. The flexibility currently added means that two or more teams covered by the same tire supplier may or not be utilizing the very same types of A and B compounds, during any given Grand Prix weekend.
- No further alteration has been announced regarding the use and number of tires per racing weekend, nor regarding tires other than those proper for dry weather.
