If you are reading this page off-line, you have already downloaded your copy of TreePad Viewer, one of the freeware programs in this family.
TreePad Viewer - the only TreePad freeware fully compatible with TreePad PLUS, SAFE, BIZ and Lite. That is, it can read password protected files, display tree icons, images, text and paragraph formatting, etc, just like its shareware brothers.
As you are experiencing it, yourself, TreePad Viewer is very useful for sharing and distributing TreePad files, photo albums, and eBooks. I also use it for opening TreePad files that I just wish to consult or copy and paste from, while I am working on a different file opened with my TreePad BIZ.
The fact that TreePad Viewer can display images and all else that is saved and displayed by the shareware line of TreePad certainly is an advantage over TreePad Lite and Asia. This advantage, however, is made up for by a drawback in view of its freeware brothers just mentioned: in contrast to TreePad Lite and Asia, TreePad Viewer can only display, but not save files: after all, TreePad Viewer is a viewer, or reader program.
