These Formula One Pages
There are plenty of Formula-One Web Sites. Among them, there are very informative pages, pages that are readily updated, pages broadcasting every GP point by point, where one can practicaly "watch" the races live, and so forth.
For links to these pages, please check the F1 Links Page on this Site. Other than these links, in the Section Teams & Drivers, you can also find links to the Formula-1 official sites--including all Teams' and Drivers' homepages.
Anyway, even though the basic information provided on the MieNet's Auto-racing F1 Pages can also be found in many other Cyber Spaces, I include it all here because I've been following the F1 Circus since the late 60's. In other words, this is information that I'd gather for myself anyway--so why not share it on this Web site, where I already share a number of other subjects that interest me?
This information includes fresh F1 news, which I, myself, enjoy coming by to read. MieNet's F1 News is provided by F1 Central.Net, Sportnetwork.Net and by Moreover, the last of which searches for news in more than 1800 sources. As a result, unpretentious as MieNet's F1 Pages have been meant to be, the selection we get here often includes news headlines which have not appeared in the specialized F1 Web sites. In other words, MieNet's F1 news constitutes an interesting and complementary alternative, as a result of the variety of sources offering the news links.
A couple of other details are also worth mentioning, as they also contribute to making MieNet's F1 space worth existing.
The first detail is that, to the best of my possibilities, I upload the results of every GP, and update the respective data on these Pages accordingly, shortly after every Post-Race Interview.
So, if you happen to enjoy F1 car racing and wish to have fresh, quick updates at every race week-end, you are surely welcome to drop by!
The second detail is that the section F1 Commented Links is one of the few, if not the only one of its kind, to offer commented links.
These commented links can be quite handy when you wish to choose an extra site to visit, but would prefer not to have to surf around till you find what you have in mind.
So, if you need to know where to point your Browser to find a service or detail, to get the freshest and/or the most comprehensive news, etc., etc., just give the F1 Commented Links a try!
Additionally, if you'd like to send me your comments about any web site carrying F1 news, updates, statistics, etc., which you particularly enjoy, I will certainly be happy to have your comments. I'll likely place them on-line, and of course give you full credit for them, unless you prefer me not to.
One last detail is worth mentioning: Time! As the F1 Circus moves around the Globe, you may find it useful to visit the section of this Site called Time around the World in order to check your corresponding local time, relative to the local time of every GP. (Whenever you are not in this F1 Section, you can easily find the time zone converter engine by clicking on the main "Time" entry, on the Navigation Menu--on top of most pages).
Among the many Time related Utilities that are available on this site, you might also enjoy checking the "Time-Unit/Decimal converter," on the Time Converter page.
I hope you are enjoying your visit to
MieNet's Formula1 Pages and will honor me again with your presence! :)

MieNet's "Formula1 Pages" are dedicated to all F1 fans--so, certainly also to you:) and, in special, to a wonderful friend for whom these F1-updates were initially made, before they became the web pages you're now visiting: André Karwath, great human being, F1 fan, and my first and only guide through the a-b-c's of HTML.

These Pages have additionally been meant as a word of praise and encouragement to Jason Watt, Danish F-3000 racer, who'd have probably made it to F1...were not for the sudden challenge of having to adapt his great driving skills also to managing a wheel chair. I'll surely be glad to see you back on the track, Jason. Bon courage!

Finally, MieNet's F1 Section pay a modest tribute to the memory of the great and unforgettable Ayrton Senna.
